2 week update

Hiya all! I am going to post below my daily weigh-ins, but can happily report that I have remained within the 2 lb limit from my new default weight...Gotta admit that low carb isnt really my thing, but Ive only got 1 week left and so far so good...I dunno how this has affected anything, but Ive also incorporated a cleanse during this period, which has me on 3 or 4 supplements and not eating eggs or any fruit except green apples, so that may factor in somewhat, but mostly has made this phase a little more difficult than it would be normally (I was miserable for 2 days when I ran out of my green apples;P)...but so happy to eat cheese, nuts, and not need weigh my meat, though I felt I was hungry for more and more often during this Phase that the previous Phase...definitely looking forward to the next Phase where I can slowly incorporate carbs back into my diet for 3 weeks, before beginning a new HCG course...so , anyhoo, heres the weigh ins:

So definitely some fluctuations, especially the first few days, as I was going crazy w/ all the new foods I could eat, as well as when I started my period, but daily weigh-ins have definitely been a bonus as they keep you aware, and varying the foods you eat is also very helpful...so thats about it for now, I will update again in about a week or so...

Plan Update

I have finished my forty days as of Monday 6/8 and am in the middle of my 72 hours without drops while still continuing the VLC (very low calorie) program...Starting tomorrow evening I will began Phase 3, which is a low carb eating program for 3 weeks. The purpose of Phase 3 is to reset your bodys default weight (my new default weight will be whatever I weigh at tomorrows weigh in)...I will be doing Phase 3 for 3 weeks, then wait 3 more weeks (6 weeks total between rounds, per Dr. Simeons protocol), after which I will begin the program again..I may have mentioned it previous, but my goal weight is 112 lbs (I am only 5'), which is a total loss of 54lbs (or there abouts), so if I hit 18 total loss tomorrow (hopefully - I like round numbers!), I will need to lose an additional 36 lbs to reach my goal...I never would have thought I would be thinking that losing 36 lbs is not only attainable, but easily attainable, yet here I am, after losing nearly 18 lbs in 40 days and eagerly looking forward to shedding this additional weight that I no longer feel helpless to lose.

Japanes Cucumber Salad

Julienne cucumbers, salt with kosher salt or sea salt , place in strainer for 10 minutes, put in a bowl, pour over rice wine vinegar (i added a little unfiltered apple cider vinegar as well), chill for an hour, serve cold or room temperature.

Slight Gain

Gain - definitely due to the cafe au lait (misto) I had last night (took me over my 1T milk limit)...gotta watch everything carefully...

Weigh In: 149.2 (.2 lb GAIN)

Total Loss: 17.4 lbs (no complaining here - even w/ the gain, the last 2 days have been sooo good)

Still sick, had to work today, took me twice as long as normal, but not feeling as down as I would normally when sick...

Weigh In: 149.0 (1.0 lb loss)

Total Loss: 17.6 lbs

I think I have about 4 or so days left of drops, then 3 days remaining on 500 cal, and then 3 weeks of low carb maintenance...when I move to that phase I will probably not post daily...

Quick Update

Sorry no update yesterday, worked all day - came home feeling flu-ish, slept like a baby for 2 hours, got up, ate dinner, back to bed until 10 this morning, still not feeling that great, but heres the update:

Wed 6/3 Weigh In: 152.0 (.6 lb GAIN) - so very depressing yesterday

Thur 6/4 Weigh In: 150.0 (2.0 lb loss) - may have something to do with being sick and not eating much protein yesterday, stuck w/ breadsticks and fruit mostly

Total Loss: 16.6 lbs

*also, made an amazing chili on Tuesday, will post recipe sometime in the next couple of days

Good Mornin'!

Ok, so its technically afternoon, but baby was at my mom's and I got to sleep in - til noon! I think I can walk around with a smile on my face all day now;D...had Steak Taco Salad for dinner again last night - yummy...and I am feeling creative and am going to attempt a Thai type lettuce wrap, will post the recipe/video if it turns out...Now for the really exciting part...Weigh In: 151.4 (1.0 lb loss - thats right - a full pound!)

More Like Easy Come, Easy Go

I gotta say I love, love, love my HCG!!! I was disappointed by the gain yesterday, but I was uber faithful and lost every ounce I gained!!! Yay! Normally it takes twice as long to lose what I gain, which always sets me back mentally on a diet... but with HCG, I was able to get past my little detour (eating pot roast cause I hot home too late and didnt plan ahead for dinner), and I am once again right on track....
